The team is in the top 200 in the semifinals

Seychelles secured a semifinal ticket as the final team in Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Tournament. In the last match of the group stage at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Mauritius qualified for the last four by drawing 2-2 with Mauritius. Though the points of the two teams are equal, the team is 20 steps ahead of Mauritius in the semifinal. Palestine is the defending champions of their opponent tournament on Wednesday.

Mauritius lost 1-0 to Burundi in their first match. Seychelles was 3-1 against the same team. This one low goal gave them the chance to digest the group stage. Today's match was quite dramatic. Seychelles scored two goals in the first half, but two goals in the second half. At the end of the match, representatives of the two islands of Africa have vigorously fought.
